BeQuilled is a lyrics-first home for human-authored songs. A place to discover a writer through a line, find language for a feeling, and hold on to the words that meet you at just the right moment.
We believe the lyricist deserves to be seen—not only when a song is playing, but whenever their words become part of someone else’s story.
Listeners here are called Kindreds. Not because they all feel the same way, but because a few honest words can remind us we are not alone.

Human by Intention.
Quilled is a home for human-authored lyrics. We value the lived experience, imagination, vulnerability, humor, struggle, and hope that only a person can bring to the words they choose to write.

Connection Over Counting.
Kindreds are here to connect with words that resonate, not to watch a scoreboard. Followers and numbers may describe activity, but they should never define the worth of a lyric, a song, or the person who wrote it.

True Discovery.
Kindreds should be able to find songs and lyricists they were not already being told to like. Lyricists deserve a real opportunity to be discovered without falling behind popularity leaders. Relevance can guide discovery; popularity does not decide who gets seen.

The Song Still Matters.
Lyrics first does not mean lyrics alone. Words and music complete one another. Quilled may begin with the line that finds you, but discovery should lead you into the full song, its sound, its story, and the person behind it.

Meaning Over Metrics.
The most important response to a song may never fit inside a play count. It may be a line someone saves, returns to, sends to a friend, or thanks a lyricist for writing. Quilled makes room for those quieter measures of meaning.

The person behind the words should not disappear behind the recording. Quilled gives lyricists a place to be known for their writing, share the stories behind their songs, and build an identity around the craft of words.
